Peter was born in 1948 and joined a Merchant Navel college, HMS Conway, at thirteen and trained for four years to be a Navigating Officer. However, one trip to Australia was enough to convince him that there must be more to life than sitting in a steel cell. So he started a five year apprenticeship at the Royal Radar Establishment, gaining an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with endorsements. Peter spotted a change taking place in marine     electronics and in 1979 startedV-Tronix Ltd, making DIY installation accessories for communication equipment. Later V-Tronix developed into AlfaTronix specialising in Automotive products. Click on the company’s logo below to go to the company homepage.
